Een stuk later dan de meeste merken komt Brunotti met zijn nieuwe kiteboard range voor 2013. Vroeg zat, want door de aanhoudende kou is het kiteseizoen nog niet begonnen.
Brunotti heeft duidelijk de tijd genomen om hun boardrange grondig aan te pakken. Het gamma twintips is op de schop genomen en er is zelfs een wakeboard ontwikkeld. Ook de range directionals is aardig uitbreid, zodat de golfrijders aan hun trekken komen. Tijd dus om de boards van Nederlandse makelij (de board shaper van Brunotti is Jinne Sietsma) eens onder de aandacht te brengen.
Twintips
Het topmodel van de lijn twintips is nog steeds het Youri Zoon pro model. Youri heeft op dit board al tweemaal de wereldtitel veroverd. Het board is erg stijf zodat hij veel pop kan leveren. Goed voor newschool freestyle rijders, maar oncomfortabel voor freeridende kitesurfers. Omdat Youri Zoon tegenwoordig met boots vaart, nemen we aan dat het board goed verstevigd is dit jaar. De inserts van het 2012 model begaven het nogal eens.
Verder is duidelijk te zien dat Brunotti de lijn twintips vereenvoudigd heeft. De Dimension en Riptide zijn de allround kiteboards, de laatste speciaal voor dames en daarom wat smaller. De Onyx is erg geliefd bij beginners en die zien we dus terug in 2013. Een prettig boardje waarop je lang kunt doorvaren als je beginner af bent. Ook van de Onyx is een variant speciaal voor dames ontwikkeld.
Kite Wave Boards
Golfrijden met een kite is ook aan de Nederlandse kust steeds populairder aan het worden en daar speelt Brunotti handig op een. Voor 2013 bestaat de lijn uit 5 directionals met verschillende maten en vormen. Geschikt voor verschillende omstandigheden en golfhoogtes. Bijzonder zijn de Pure Wave boards, waarop geen voetbanden gemonteerd kunnen worden. Alleen geschikt voor strapless rijders dus.
