De Sonic 3 kwam een maand geleden op de markt. Na het succes van de eerste twee versies, hebben ze bij Flysurfer weer wat verbeterpunten gevonden. Zo is de performance weer een stuk beter: verder aan de rand van het window en reageert sneller. De waterstart is verbeterd en de kite houdt beter z´n vorm in de extreme van je window. Dit komt door het gebruik van stijver materiaal. De landing is ook soepeler omdat de Sonic 3 zich makkelijker in laat sturen.
